UConn unveils new uniforms, helmets for 2015 (Video)
UNLV wasn’t the only team to show off new uniforms on Wednesday night. The UConn Huskies also unveiled some pretty significant changes to both their uniforms and helmets.
Among the changes includes a return of the Husky logo to the side of the helmet in place of the block “C.” Additionally, the uniforms have a husky logo across the chest instead of UCONN.
The school said in a release that it was going for a “sporty and sleek” look while “maintaining a traditional, collegiate feel.” Here’s a full gallery of 24 photos where you can take a closer look.
The Huskies, who went 2-10 in 2014, will debut the new look when they open their season at home against Villanova on Sept. 3.
